PM Narendra Modi turns 74

Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 74 today on September 17, 2024. He will inaugurate 26 lakh houses built under PM Awas Yojana at Gadakana in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar. The prime minister will also proceed to the Gadakana slum for a short stay and interact with the beneficiaries of the housing scheme. He will later visit Janata Maidan to launch the Subhadra Yojana. Alongside this, Prime Minister Modi is set to unveil railway projects valued at Rs 2,871 crore and highway infrastructure projects worth Rs 1,000 crore, according to officials. Born as Narendra Damodardas Modi on September 17, 1950 in the Vadnagar in Gujarat’s Mehsana, Modi served as Gujarat chief minister for more than 12 years over four terms making him the longest-serving CM of the state before he became Prime Minister for the first time in 2014.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday extended his warm wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 74th birthday.

Celebrities like Rajinikanth, Vijay, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Chiranjeevi, Anupam Kher and others wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 74th birthday. Rajinikanth wrote on X, “A very happy birthday to our most respected honourable Prime minister dear Shri @narendramodiji. I pray to god to always bless you with good health and happiness.” Akshay Kumar, who shares a cordial relationship with the Prime Minister, wrote, “Aapko Janamdin ki anek subhkamnaye. Desh ke liye aap bina thake bina ruke jo kar rahe hain, us par hum ko garv hain. Bhagwan se prarthana hain ki aap khush aur susth rahe (Many happy returns for the day. We are proud of your contribution towards our nation. Wish you a good health).”
