Revanth Reddy: New CM of Telangana

Anumula Revanth Reddy became the Chief Minister of Telangana by taking oath at Hyderabad’s Lal Bahadur Stadium on 7 December, 2023. He has become the first Congress CM of youngest state in India.
Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana. Besides CM and deputy CM, eleven more ministers took oath as well. The other ministers include N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, C Damodar Rajanarasimha, D Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, D Anasuya, Tummala Nageswara Rao and Jupally Krishna Rao.
Many dignitaries were also the part of the oath ceremony such as Congress national President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Party leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Mr. Revanth Reddy on the occasion with an assurance of his full support for the progress of Telangana.
After taking oath, he signed two files. First file includes implementation of six poll guarantees and Second file includes provision of job opportunities to disabled woman.
Revanth Reddy ended his speech with ‘Jai Congress’ , ‘Jai Sonia Amma’. He concluded with a thanks to all people, leaders from Congress and other political parties who have attended the oath ceremony.
Revanth Reddy announced that at 10 a.m. on 8 December, 2023, a public meeting ” Praja Darbar” will take place at Jyoti Rao Phule Praja Bhavan.
